The Poverello Foundation is a ministry of help and hope to the patients of Mayo Clinic Hospital — Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Since 1983, the Poverello Foundation has provided financial support through the Poverello fund to thousands of men, women and children who cannot pay for medical and surgical care. Recipients of this support feel a sense of relief that plays a vital role in the healing process. To continue this work, the fund depends on gifts from friends who share the call to help others.
